VALLEYKATZ BENGALS
We are a small family Bengal Cat Breeder in the Myakka River Valley, Sarasota, on the Gulf Coast of Florida. It became clear to us with our first Bengal Cat that no one needs to improve the personality of this wild-looking family pet. Their temperament epitomizes heart, athleticism, and intelligence- bold and affectionate. It is a pleasure to have these amazing cats in our home.
Silvers are our only focus
It is the striking Silver Bengal Cat that we were most taken with. And so, our goal is the furthering of this special breed by intensifying the qualities of the lovely Silver Bengal Cat. We hope to improve their color, contrast, and type with our future breeding.

When I first started looking for a silver bengal a few years ago I found this amazing boy
right here in Sarasota but no kittens available. But clearly it was meant to be! 2 years
later I found a kitten and her father was Steely. He had been placed with Rowan Bengals in
Alabama due to his owners health problems. Many thanks to Josh and Helen for my lovely girl
and mentoring me thru SO many questions.

A recent article in the NY Times written by Nicholas Bakalar discusses a study in which 19 out of 38 cats (that’s half!) preferred the company of humans above other entertainment options such as catnip, food, or toys. This proves that cats really are affectionate and love humans!
